Philippine Blogging Awards 2015: this year’s much awaited event in Manila, Philippines
Have you heard of Bloggys 2015? AND that it’s the most awaited event this side of Manila?
Well, Bloggys 2015 or Philippine Blogging Awards is a nationwide awarding event for bloggers in the Philippines. This year, promises to be an exciting one because you get to nominate your favorite blog! It might even be your own so don’t be shy and just vote. All are welcome to join and nominate from September 1-30, 2015.
The Bloggys 2015 event is organized by Essays.ph, a company based in Makati who is the premiere content outsourcing group in the country. They have been in the business since 2007 and have grown enormously to a community of more than 80,000 freelance writers, authors and local bloggers honed to diverse niches in the writing world.
Dr. Donald Lim, Chief Digital Head of ABS-CBN, Maria Ressa, Founder and CEO of Rappler, Janette Toral, Founder of DigitalFilipino.com and Abe Olandres, Founder of Yugatech heads the team of 16 men and women jury, prominent in their field of expertise. They will be judging this year’s entries according to the following criteria:
Relevance to Niche – 30%
Engagement – 25%
Content – 25%
Presentation – 10%
X-Factor – 10%
After 3 months of searching for the most awesome blogger, the awarding ceremonies will take place on the 21st of November, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Taguig. It will be a red carpet event with everyone dressed to the nines and enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while eagerly waiting for the winner to be called. Partying will come later, there might be dancing (!) so reserve your tickets early.
