A picture of my niece atop the grassland summit of Mt. Pulag in Benguet, Philippines at daybreak. The white area you see below are clouds with a tinge of orange on the horizon where the sun is just starting to peek. This is a breathtaking view of what we call “the sea of cloud phenomenon”.
One of the most beautiful mountains in my country, it is Luzon’s highest peak at 2,922 meters above sea level. Mt. Pulag is favorite destination for trekkers and anyone who loves the outdoors.

What an amazing view! Lovely capture. This seems to me a bit like sitting atop the world.
It is! It’s a fabulous way to spend time, LOL!

Hi Edelweiss…thanks for visiting! I hope you get to see Mt. Pulag soon…:o)
This was a interesting article to read, thank you for sharing it.
I didn’t even think these kinds of scenery exist in Philippines. Must be a cold point spot of the Philippines.
That’s really amazing.
How long it takes to ascend to the top?
Clouds?! That’s such a different view than I’ve ever seen.
Sitting in that place, looking at that view, there has to be a sense of peace. Great capture.
It certainly suits the theme – thanks for stopping by my blog
🙂
Breathtaking indeed. It’s like having your soul commune with the heavens and the world stood still…still enough to hear your heart beat and your heart’s inner longings. Longings of peace that will help us overcomes all odds. Beautiful!
We all need our ‘peace space’ as I call it. It’s a time to tune in to our inner being and hear our heart speak. We tend to be overwhelmed with the noises of our daily grind that it deafens the true voice within.
Thanks for the visit Island Traveller!
That definitely looks peaceful 🙂
Thank you!

Looks cold but I bet there wasn’t a sound up there. That’s one thing that I love about being in the mountains – the sound of silence.
Thanks for sharing.
In a world full of noise, peace and silence are precious indeed!
